If you need packing supplies you can place an order here or you can call your Amodio Customer Representative at 1-800-326-6346.
Before you get started, here are a few general suggestions that will make your packing easier:
Plan how you will pack. Pack items first that you don't use often.
You never realize how much you own until you try to move it, so don't underestimate the amount of work it takes to pack your belongings. Starts packing as soon as you find out you're moving.
Use professional packing tape. Masking tape isn't strong enough to support a fully packed carton. Use generous amounts of paper inside the cartons on the top and bottom to provide a good cushion for items packed.
Use clean "newsprint" paper. Old newspapers may work for some items, but use them carefully, because the ink will rub off.
List the contents on the outside of the carton. Clearly mark "fragile" on the outside of cartons containing fragile items.
Indicate boxes holding essential items such as cooking utensils, toiletries, etc., by writing "OPEN FIRST" on the cartons and making sure these are the last boxes to be loaded.
Separate breakables and non-breakables.
Pack all cartons tightly. If a carton rattles or makes noise, the contents could be damaged in transit. Consider placing linens, blankets or other soft goods on top of not-quite-full cartons to fill the space and provide extra cushioning.
Never pack flammable items such as aerosols, fuels, or toxins.
